After collision take horizontal and vertical components as vcos60 and vsin60 in x- and -y direction respectively.
And do the same for initial velocity.
And apply momentum conservation in x and y direction separetly.

In many books there is written vcos60(-i) and vcos60(-j) for x-plane and y- plane respectively............
