Velocity is speed in a given direction. Two objects may travel at the same speed but may have different velocities.
Acceleration of an object is the change in its velocity per seconds

accelaration: velocity of a particle per unit time .units are meter per sec square
veloccity: distance travelled for unit time is known as velocity.units are meter per second
distance: the length covered by any particle is known as distance.units are meters

The rate of change of velocity of a body is called acceleration.
velocity is aphysical vector quantity having both magnitude and direction.
distance is the space between starting and ending point.

Dear Chethan,
Distance is the path from one point to another point and Velocity is the differentiate of distance And Acceleration is the differentiate of velocity and the units are m,m/s,m.s2 respectively.

velocity and acceleration have do with rates of change with respect to time.speed is scalar quantity.velocity is a vector quantity. It is direction aware.speed ignorent direction.

Distance: is the length of the path covered which iz a scalar quantity
velocity: the rate of change displacement is called velocity
acceleration : the rate of change of velocity is called acceleration
the difference is that the distance is a scalar quantity &the remaining physical quantities r vector quantities

the difference between acceleration and velocity and displacement means ,the rate of change of velocity is called acceleration, and the rate of change of displacement is called velocity .the body moves from one position to another position then some spce is overcomed that is displacement.

My velocity is 30 kilometers per hour that-a-way. Average speed is described as a measure of distance divided by time. Velocity can be constant, or it can change (acceleration). Speed with a direction is velocity.
