It is given in the question, u = -90 cm
magnification, m = – 2 (take it negative as produced twice the size of the object size)
so we can find the image distance using lens formula
1/f = 1/v - 1/u
Use proper sign convention.
If focal length comes out to be positive, then it would be a convex lens otherwise concave lens.
