Hi Aditya

Oppositely charged particles will definitely attract each other and will try to move towards them. But when there is another non magnetic body between them or if they are restraint of any movement then they will form a dipole.

A dipole is collection of oppositely charged particles kept at some distance from each other such that there magnetic lines will interfere significantly.

eg: We can say that Earth's poles form a dipole.Wink
