that is the only one choice u have ?? if u have any other choice then let me know , beacuse joining into mechanical smart manufacturing is not a good decision . that too in a lower iiit , 
and whats your jee main rank ?/ explore more options to come , 
otherwise if u have confidence then drop a year and prepare for the next year to get cse in reputed university . 
and if u have scored 100 in jee main , u can take admission in LPU , PUNJAB , also , ask them for cse branch . but donot take anything in iiit kanchipuram . 
one of my seniors are now there and he is facing a lot of problem and regreeting of choosing the stream , he is in I.T branch still .
