Hint.:-Total no. of Possibilities of choosing questions from part A,B and C is 6. Either candidate can attempt (4, 1, 1) questions from part A, B and C respectively or (3,2,1) or (3,1,2) or (2,3,1) or (2,1,3) or (2,2,2). Now we can easily find the no. of ways from each possibilites. Example for first posibility i.e. (4,1,1), no. of possibile ways =6C4*3C1*3C1. Similarly we can find for others. Then finally add all the possiibily. You will get the ans as 720. Thanks.
