It will be [A], because all the wavelengths of light are absorbed by the electrons of the opaque object, which jump to higher energy levels.
However, only light of a particular wavelength is emitted when the electron comes back to its ground state, which is seen as the colour of the onject.
Thus, the answer must be [A].
It cannot be [C], because light is not reflected back to our eyes, It is the light that is given out as energy when the electron returns to the ground state.
