Electric potential is all rely on upon present and current is streaming because of the development of charge .Current is constantly greatest where the surface thickness of charge is most extreme. What's more, at the middle the surface thickness is greatest than the edges. Thus the surface thickness is greatest then the current is most extreme that has the potential effect is greatest at the middle than the edges .

Potential due to a disc is,
V= (Kq(3/2-r^2/2R^2))/R
where R= radius of disc and 
r= distance of that point from centre
By formulae the desired result can be obtained
