As we have the general formula is that V=E*d . By the same idea we can say that if E=0 ,then V=0, But it's not true. How? What are the extra factors changing in this case ?

As we have the general formula is that V=E*d . By the same idea we can say that if E=0 ,then  V=0, But it's not true. How? What are the extra factors changing in this case ?

V=∫E•d, therefore, the value of V varies depending upon the constant of integration
