EDDY CURRENTS MEAN THE CURRENTS WHICH OPPOSES MOTION THAT CAUSE THE CHANGE OF MAGNETIC FLUX

WE KNOW THAT WHEN MAGNETIC FLUX LINKED TO  A COIL IS CHANGED CURRENT IS INDUCED IN THAT COIL IN ORDER TO OPPOSE THE EFFECT OF CHANGING MAGNETIC FLUX.
IN SAME WAY, IN A PIECE OF METAL WHEN MAGNETIC FLUX LINKED TO IT IS CHANGED CURRET IS INDUCED WHICH LOOKS LIKE THE SHAPE OF EDDIES IN WATER.
HENCE IT IS KNOWN AS EDDY CURRENT
PLEASE LET US KNOW IF THERE IS STILL SOME DOUBT

Thank you Sahil brother. Now I am able to completely understand eddy currents. My uncle who is a physics lecturer and you helped me to understand eddy currents. Now I am able to prepare well for my exams.
