Since current does not follow law of vector addition instead it follows algebraic form of addition which is a property of scalar quantity.

dear current is a scaler quantity because it doesnot  follows vector addition laws..

A current is consider as a scalar quantity because it can`t be a unidirectional. Which means it has multiple directions
