The following question is on the gauss theorem... 1-) what is electric flux if: a) thin metallic shell have a charge ‘q’ inside it and a charge Q on the surface..... b) solid metallic shell have a charge q on it....... And if a shell have a charge Q On the surface also and we are taking the the surface of the shell as the gaussian surface...... Will we take the surface charge in account....

Electric flux is the produt of the Electric field with the surface area at last which the flux to be calculated.
And frthe gaussian law it is also equal to the su of the total charge enclosed by the selected desired surface area.
