Sorry the image didnt get uploaded... I dont know how to..

Resistance of ammeter = 19.2 ohms
Total resistance of circuit = 29.9 ohms
we know V=iR (ohms law)
=>20=i(29.9)
=>i=0.7A (approx.)

Ans : 0.7 Ampere

The shunt is parallel to the ammeter and has a resistance of 20 ohms. The ammeter has a coil of resistance 480 ohms. The total equivalent of the resistance when calculated comes to 19.2 ohms. Hence the total resistance in the circuit comes to 10 + 19.2 = 29.2 ohms (series resistance). Now we can calculate the value of i (current) using ohms law (V=iR) which will be the reading in the ammeter and is approximately equal to 0.7 Ampere.
