Dear Student,

Suppose the battery 6v supplies current = i
Division of current at the 100W and 100W loop is i1 and i2.
applying KVL in that loop,
100i1=100i2
=>i1=i2
i1=i/2
applying KVL in the loop battery is there,
100i+100i/2=6
=>i=0.04A
Voltage across the voltmeter is the voltage across the 100W resistance it is in loop with.
=100i
=4V
