Dear Student,

Let the current supplied by the battery is i.
current passing through 2W = ixopposite resistance/total resistance in the parallel loop
=ix2/3 =0.67i
Current through 4W= ixopposite resistance/total resistance in the parallel loop
=ix1/3
=0.33i
current through 3W= ixopposite resistance/total resistance in the parallel loop
=ix5/8=0.62i
current through 5W= ixopposite resistance/total resistance in the parallel loop
=ix3/8=0.36i
Maximum current through = 2W
Minimum current through=4W
where W = ohm.
