A resistor is connected in parallel to a bulb of 40W.If a bulb of 100W is connected in place of the 40W bulb,will the heat production be affected?

A resistor is connected in parallel to a bulb of 40W.If a bulb of 100W is connected in place of the 40W bulb,will the heat production be affected?

the heat produced by the resistor will be unchanged.
The heat produced by the light bulb will go up from 40W to 100W, assuming you turn the power on.
Parallel loads connected to a presumed voltage source see the same voltage and hence the load power is independent of the whatever else is in parallel with it.
