There is a uniform electric field of strength 10^3 N/C along the Y-axis. A body of mass 1 gram and charge 10^-6 C is projected into the field from the origin along the positive X-axis with a velocity 10 m/s. What is the speed of body after 10 s?

e field is long y axis

therefore potential drop will only be along y axis

along axis potential is constant

there gain in kinetic energy = loss in potentail energy

loss in p.e =0

gain in k.e = 0

velocity remains same
