for sure , you can crack jee by self preparation , but u need to do planning in that extent .

maths 
1- iit maths by m l khanna / maths by a das gupta 
2- 37 years paper for jee by mtg publication 
physics 
1- concept of phy by h c verma 
2- problems in gen phy by irodov . 
3- last years paper . 
chemistry 
1- organic chemi by cengage publication 
2- physical chemi by p bahadur 
3- inorganic chemi by grb publication .
