Eligibility criteria for IIT JAM exam is as follows:
Minimum Educational Qualification – First class marks or min. 55% aggregate marks (reserved category – 50% marks) in bachelors degree. Proof of qualifying degree must be submitted to the admitting institute by the time of first counselling.
Nationality – Any Foreign/Indian student can apply for JAM. Although rules of admissions given by admitting institutes will also be considered in case of foreign nationals.
Physical fitness: Candidates need to submit certificate of physical fitness to the admitting institute by the time of first counselling. Admitting institute reserves all rights to cancel candidature of anyone at any given time, if any infomation found misleading & wrong.
