May be possible that your category helps you out to get a seat in an NIT, but can’t say anything for sure,....you better keep an eye on the counselling rounds followed by the spot round and if your score/rank falls in the list for allocations, then you’re inm ….otherwise you can apply at some other but equally good institutions for admission,.....i may suggest these names – Krishna Inst of Engg and Tech, Ghaziabad,..........Vasavi College of ENgg, Hyderabad,........Lovely Professional Uni, Phagwara,............BITS Pilani
