If you are trying out for KVPY make sure you finish your course(class 11th & 12th ) before October such that you have 1 month time before exam date to revise the whole course.The questions in KVPY exam are of a level which is lower than JEE Mains.Hence, the questions are good but they would be short because they primarily test your concept not your power of cramming stuff.So focus should be on concepts.
