See,you need to remember some specific values like log2,log3,log5log7..etc.infact this much is enough.
now just try out for some guessing purpose..like 654 is somewhere near to 625..which can be easily calculated as log 625=4 log 5 (assuming that u know some basic log properties)..it is very near to actual value..and hence you are doone.
log 67..67 near to 64=2^6..so log 67 is approx.,6log2..
