hi xavier
i think if you are a scholar student you should give atleast 6 days to  a single chapter . this will help in board as well as in competitive exams

That purely depend upon the time u have for board exam , and the level of the brain of the student . 
beacuse some students take 2-3 days to complete a chap while some student takes even 7 days to complete that . its all about understanding the concept . 
”and that does not matter in class 12th board exam , but whatever time u study study with full dedication , and ideally if u hv 8-9 months for board then 4 days per chapter per subject , but keep them revisiing so, not to forget in between .
