there are two works each of three volumes and two works each of two volumes in how many ways can the ten books be placed on a shelf so that volumes of the same work are not repeated

Suppose the volume of the same work are inseperable then we have 4 works to be arranged.Since volume of each work can be arranged in any order we get

   4! * 3! *3! * 2! *2! = 3456
