can anyone please tell me what type of questions come in kvpy

As per to me.
questions from org. chem..eg.neuclophilic reac. etc,
in phyics...mechanics mostly
in maths ....i think 11 class NCERT is sufficient.

I gave kvpy last year and got selected for the interview

Believe me if you want to increase your chances you really need to ensure that you get more the 70% in written exam,

else you interview marks would not be of much help....

Basically as you said that you are in 11th, you need to brush up your 10th class topics,

for physics you should have a strong hold on kinematics and laws of motion,

litlle integration is also required to solve some typical questions.

but that will do.

you need to solve last year papers to get and idea...

for chemistry you really need to study organic.

that was my BIGGEST mistake which i regret till now

you need to know the basics like Electrophilic substitution, friedal craft reactions,

ans a little basics knowledge, 11th class NCERT will do

for math you need to practise

you can expect anything from anywhere

its the best book with outstanding questions...
