in charles law volume is directly proportional to temperature if pressure is kept constant......

my doubt is what pressure are they talking about internal or external...........

It is inside the beaker in which the gases are kept. The walls and the piston are considered ideal in all respects i.e. adiabatic, etc..

The piston is there change the volume of container whereas temperature regulates its effect.
