Grade 12th PassDiscuss with colleagues and IITians

My son had got 2170 rank in AIEEE & scored 321 in BITSAT exams. We gave preferance to college ranking & got him admitted in manufacturing engg in BITS leaving C.S> in DTU. Unfortunately, He is finding everything too primitive there :(. Is it the condition in all the colleges. Have we taken the right decision?? Please do guide us what should we do now....

I am i IIT varanasi, and even here r conditions too much primitive, but it is the value of knowledge which makes the man an able engineer and person, ur son need to develop interest, and as far as i know, bits pilani is no. 1 in infrastructure...

Are core branches(Mechanical) in Top 3 NIT worth it ?

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
