I feel that choose your branch wisely. College does matter but at the end you will work in the field you choose, whether you want to get a job or open your own company. If you love what you study and what you do, you'll excel no matter where you are.

Both the institutions are equally good  as there is no compromise with quality education and better placements in both the institutions....so it is purely your choice where to go,.....another fact is that one has to study on one’s own wherever admission is sought,......if you still wish to compare and contrast features of some other leading institutions, then i may suggest these names – Bangalore Inst of Tech, Bangalore,............Nalin INst of Tech, Indore,.............Lovely Professional Uni, Phagwara,............Walchand College of Engg, Sangli
