electrial is a core branch. and elec. of nit surat is definately gud. average package for last year was 8.3lacs and highest was 12.8lacs so go for it.

it is a good branch... avg. package is around 6-7 lakhs and moreover there will be a probability that u can get a branch of higher preference in nit surathkal
