I am Mohd Abdul Muqeet and I have completed my 12th std (CBSE) I have attempted JEE 2011 but unfortunately didnt qualify.
I am interested in aerospace/aeronautical engg. I have applied in SRM university,chennai for aerospace and at the same time I can get B.Tech Mech. in NIT either in warangal,trichy or surathkal based on my sat score (as per DASA scheme).I want to do my job in gulf countries.
So pls guide me which branch to select,AERO from SRM or MECH from NIT.pls reply
And is there any NRI quota in JEE 2011 ?????

Please opt for NIT-Trichy(Mechanical Engg) or NIT-Warangal(Mechnaical Engg) beacuse you will easily get placements abroad !!
SRM wont come near NIT's standards !!!!
Aeronautical Engg from SRM is not worth as Mechanical Engg from top notch NIT's like NIT-Trichy & NIT-Warangal !
Go for Mechanical Engg @ NIT-Trichy or NIT-Warangal !!
There is no NRI Quota for JEE-2011 !!

If you are interested in aerospace then please opt for SRM but to be placed in Gulf countries please go for Mech in NITs because the placements of NITs is far better than SRM.You can be easily placed in abroad.
I recommend do what you are interested in i.e. Aerospace .
