I would strongly suggest you to take NIT Jaipur Mech. Though Jaipur is not one of the top NIT's , it is still better than BITS Hyderabad.Among the  BITS's colleges ,only Pilani has got enough reputation to compete with NIT's or even IIT's. My suggestion is to join NIT Jaipur.

Hi

NIT Jaipur mechanical wud be a better choice than chemical at bits hyderabad. NIT Jaipur is a relatively older and established institute as compared to BITS Hyderabad , which has started recently only and there are nt much reviews about the institute.

Although chemical has gt gr8 scope, but mechanical is good too. BITS hyderabad is relatively new and need tym to come to th level of other BITS institute. NIT Jaipur has decent placement records which u can access at www.mnit.ac.in/placement/placement_report_mnit_2008-09.pdf .
