what is the right time to start the preperation for iitjee2011? is it too late for that?

If you want to start for JEE 2011 than i think it is too late but if you are in 12th now then you can give JEE 2012 with full preparation. but for that also you should start the prepartion now as the syllabus is large and you have to give time to revision also.

IT DEPENDS ON your intellegence level. for a normal student it becomes only possible if he had well prepared in 11th and 12th class NCERT(all concepts) and if lie in this category START NNNNOWWWWWWWW as early as possible and do your best to emerge as winner.
