consider a non linear system where the restoring force is F= -kx -EM(x^2). the system is subjected to n external periodic force f=f0(sin wT). Show that the system will lead to a second harmonic generation. Find out the magnitude of this second harmonic.

Dear gaurav,

I analysed the question very thoroughly and came out with a conclusion that its quite simple , what do you need to do is just differentiate the restoring force F.
