I wanted to ask if BIT Jaipur is a good college or not? How is it in terms of placements , research, faculty, infrastructure, campus facilities,crowd, etc. What was the cut off for BIT Jaipur last year?

I wanted to ask if BIT Jaipur is a good college or not? How is it in terms of placements , research, faculty, infrastructure, campus facilities,crowd, etc. What was the cut off for BIT Jaipur last year?

Hi,

The Birla Institute of Technology, Extension Centre, Jaipur was started in 1995 in the sprawling campus of the reputed Birla Institute of Scientific Research (BISR). The centre started by offering PG level programmes in computer science and computer applications. Since than the range of programmes as well as the facilities have expanded to offer a wide range of academic programmes both UG & PG level. There is no hostel facility at this institute and therefore one has to be prepared for PG / rented accommodation. The BIT Extension Center at Jaipur offers the following Full Time courses:

Postgraduate

    * Master in Business Administration (MBA)
    * Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
    * M.Sc. in Bioinformatics
    * M.Sc. in Geoinformatics 

Undergraduate

    * Bachelor of Engineering (BE)
          o Computer Science & Engineering
          o Electronics & Communications Engineering
    * Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
    * Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)
    * B.Sc. in Animation & Multimedia

Admission to the BE Programme is through the AIEEE Exam but the forms are separate which have to be got from the Jaipur Campus. The selection is based upon the Marks in Class XII and the AIEEE rank independent of the main Institute.
