Hi IITians, I secured 1731 AIR in IIT, open category, this year, 2010. I have been allotted a seat in IIIT hyderabad for Computers dual degree. I have also been allotted a seat in IIT hyderabad for Computers branch. I am in a dilemma now to choose one among these. I have heard that computers dual degree in IIIT hyderabad is very good. But at the same time, I feel IIT is a BRAND. IIT hyderabad being a new one and having a computers dual deg seat alloted in IIIT hyd, should I prefer IIT hyd or not. Please suggest ASAP. DONT LIVE IN THE MYTH THAT IIIT HYD IS VERY EXCELLENT COLLEGE last year their last rank admitted was 10k air with cse 4yr btech going till 5500AIR wait for 4th round in iiit hyd their cse 4yr goes till 5500air.

 

they got detached from ccb because ccb print the opening and closing ranks of all the colleges and these iiit hyd feel that it will harm their reputation as their closing ranks are nowhere near top NITS like warangal trichy surathkal allahbad calicut so they got separated here is the official forum of iiit hyd check their opening and closing dont remain in thise myth wait till 4th round their cutoff for btech 4 yr cse goes till 5500air
