Both the branches are ver green never fall down in the placments...but if you compare in both these branches then mechanical branch stoods 1st as per me bcoz i seen here the placments so mechanical branch is really good and you can also go in different sectors after your b tech like you can go in aerospace...mechanical...in MS and Phd..where as in civil you can go through in only in civil and alsovery good ample of job opportunites in mechanical branch than the civil..so if you are getting mechical means then go a head...
