sir it is better to take any branch in old iit or core branch in new iit
Hi .
It will be difficult for new IITs to match the aura and the prestige enjoyed by original 'big five' IITs.. they dont have enough exposure and proper administration or proper management system. The faculty also there are less and they have to suffer a lots of lodging problems as they are mentored by the older IITs. It will take some Time for new IITs to be established as old IITs , NITs and other good collages like BITs, pilani etc. So if you are getting a good branch in any of old IIT, NIT, BITS Pilani ..then prefer them..
