If u r interested for research or higher studies, the only go for Nano technolgy. Ofcourse it is an interesting subject and that interest depends entirely on you.In India , it has very less oppurtunitoes in terms of job and research.
EVEN BIOTECH HAS VER LESS OPPURTUNITIES IN TEMS OF jOBS
I better suggest u to go for Mech/Elec/CIVIL. if u want to settle in india in agud company , as these depts have heavy openings in all almost all companies
