dear xavier 
you can get 40 percent of the total marks by practicing the ncert textbooks , 40 percent of the ques are exactly rom the ncert , the previous year in hsc board . 
so,take your state board textbook alongwith ncert , and u can also take at least last 5 years of ques paper , 
in chemistry 20 percent ques are from prev year ques paper ,
