u an easily calculate the lone pair from the lewis dot structure , so, no need to cram it , cram those thing which are required , already u have many things to cram like biomolecules , polymer chapter . 
so, apply the following formula for lone pair calculation 
1- count the valence electron in all atoms frst 
2- complete the octect of terminal atoms . 
3- place any leftover electron on central atom . 
4-then complete the octect , 
and then count up the no of lone pair in that , lone pair means those which cannot take part in bonding .
