Orgnic chemistry is important to master to score high in IIT JEE. Do not lose hope. Start from understanding the general mechanisms of organic chemistry. You should refer to Morrison And Boyd. DO not mug up the reactions. Make notes for each topic and revise on daily basis, especially in the morning. I would advice you to make sticky notes on mechanisms and paste on the cupboards and walls of your rooms. glance through them every day before sleeping. Take tiny steps, by this I mean cover one topic of organic every day by giving 1- 1.5 hour. Do not forget to study other subjects.

Focus on the following topics first
1.electronic displacement effects / GOC
2.isomerism ( specially stereoisomerism coz other parts are easy)
3. Grignard reagent
4.alkyl Halide + concepts of substitution and elimination
5. Hydrocarbon
other chapters of organic which are to be done in a sequence after first five are
6.alcohols and ether
7.Aldehyde and ketone
8. Carboxylic acid
9. Carbene and nitrene
10. Bio molecules and polymers
