Sir how can we understand when to apply which wave equation like sine or cosine.................... ??????? I ve seen x = Asin(wt+kx) x = Asin(wt-kx) x = Acos(wt+kx) I am confused....... it would be gr8 if u could help me........ thanx!

Both are the valid equations to represent waves, but the type of equation to be used for a specific problem depends on the initial phase difference..................................
