In the JEE Mains syllabus “unit 21 Hydrocabons” it is given “classification, isomerism, IUPAC nomenclature, general methods of preparation, properties and reactions”. Does it mean , you have to learn all these topics under each - Alkane, Alkene, Alkyne and Aromatic Hydrocarbons ? Please clarify the syllabus in hydrocarbons. Kindly guide me. thanks for your help. Anna Xavier You do only Ncert syallbous with its subpoint..Ncert topics are enough to clarify Jee-Main examination..Don’t confuse in it...Best of Luck
