If u want to persue career in information technology , then choose comp . sci engineering or i.t stream u have to choose after 12th . 
if u will do that from a good institute then u can earn a great amount of money by making various programmes and softwares . 
even make sure u have comp sci in class 12th as that will help u here in the engg courses as well . 
and otherwise u  can join robotics and nano technology as well . 
they also have a high demand in foreign country , not ryt now in india , but very soon they will be . 
SO, IT DEPENDS ON YOU , IF U WANT TO EARN A VERY GOOD MONEY AND PLACEMENT , THEN go with comp sci and engg .
