Hi dear
A 10th class student must mainly focus on Ncert books. They are the foundation and main books for cracking IIT. So ignoring them is not a god idea at all
Also there are many topics of 9th and 10th that forms base of 11th topics. So try to be good with concepts from now only as it will help you a lot in future.Also I suggest you to do books like r.d. sharma for maths along with ncert as it will help you to succeed in future:}
