Dear Suhel Malik,

Ans:-Rainfall is 2 cm means that if the rain water could not run away due to clogging, then that area would be under 2cm of water. This generally indicates the vol of the rain fall as we shall be getting the vol by multiplying the 2cm with the total area where this rainfall occurs.
