u need the following to improve your score in jee 
1- proper planning with time management 
2- donot cram anything understand everything by concept only . 
3- donot do late night study , it will increase your burden 
4- donot follow many authors book , follow only 1 books per subject , it will reach you to iit . 
5- practice previous year paper , thats very imp 
6- complete your syllabus on time , so, that u can do ample ques and attempt test series .
