```										Dear Akhil,
Solution:- The general solution of given eq. f(x) = f ''(x) is f(x) = Aex + Be-x; where A and B are real numbers. it is very standard and you can easily derive it.
From the given conditions, you can find A and B.
f(x) = Aex + Be-x
f(0) = A +B = 2
and, f '(0) = A- B = 3
So, A = 2.5 and B = -0.5
f(x) = 2.5ex - 0.5e-x [Ans]
Please feel free to post as many doubts on our discussion forum as you can. If you find any questionDifficult to understand - post it here and we will get you the answer and detailed solution very quickly. We are all IITians and here to help you in your IIT JEE preparation.
If y=(x^n)log(x) than find nth order derivative of y.
Simply, this Q. is solved by using Leibnitz’s Rule of differentiation. The answer of the Q. is x^n*log(x)^2.
The extremities of the base of an isosceles triangle ABC are the points A(2,0) and b (0,1).if the equation of the side ac is x=2 then the slope of the side bc is???
equation of side ac is x=2, so the point c has coordinates (2,k) and also distance between points a and c is equal to points b and c(since isosceles),so (k=5/2) and usng slope formula slope ...
How To Solve These type of equations... (9x 2- 3x-2)(x 2 -3x+2)=21. what is the Value(s) of “x”??
PFA Otherwise u can form biquadratic and take 21 on other side and try factorizing using hit and trial.
Write the equation as (3x+1)(3x-2)(x-1)(x-2) = 21 Club the 2 nd and 3 rd factors, and 1 st and 4 th factor to get (3x 2 -5x+2)(3x 2 -5x+2) = 21 or (3 x 2 -5x) 2 – 4 = 21 from which 3x 2 -5x ...
For what values of 'a' will the tangents drawn to the parabola y 2 = 4ax from a point, not on the y axis, will be normal to the parabola x 2 =4y.
tangent for y^2 =4ax=> 2ydy/dx = 4a or dy/dx = 2a/y = m (let) and tangent for x^2 = 4y 2x = 4dy/dx dy/dx = x/2 = n (let) Now given, m * n = -1 we get, y = – ax put it in y^2 = 4ax eqn. we...
