```				   If α is a repeated root of ax2 + bx + c = 0, then Limx→α tan(ax2 + bx + c) / (x - α)2 is ???
```										Dear Mainak
α is a repeated root of ax2 + bx  + c = 0
so   ax2 + bx  + c=a(x-α)2
now  Limx→α tan(ax2 + bx +  c) / (x - α)2
=Limx→α [tana(x-α)2 ]/ (x - α)2
=Limx→α a[tana(x-α)2 ]/ a(x - α)2
=a             because   Limx→0 tanx /x   = 1

I`m probably just being a jerk but you didn`t specify what you are differentiating with respect to.If you differentiate acceleration as a function of distance from (say) the moon, you`ll get...

The sum of n terms of an ap is n squares.find its common difference.

(n/2)(a + l) = n^2 a + l = 2n l = 2n – a l = a + (n-1)d = 2n – a d = 2(n – a)/(n-1) where a would be the first term always.

If a, b, c are real numbers and satisfy 1/a + 1/b + 1/c = 1/(a+b+c), then the value of ((1/a + 1/b + 1/c)^2007) - (2007 / ( a^2007 + b^2007 + c^2007 )) + ( 2006 / ((a + b + c)^2007 )) is :...

answer is b I don’t the proper method to solve this but you can solve it by this method. Take a=1, b=-1, c=1, then above equation is also satisfied. Value of expression = 1-2007+2006 = 0 So ...

Tangents from the points T to the ellipse x2-y2 equal 1 cut off a length equal to the minor axis from the tangent at (a,0). Prove that T lies on a parabola

I apologize for my mistake.it should be a standard form ellipse, that is x^2/a^2 + y^2/b^2 = 1. Hope you can give me required detailed solution for this problem

 JOEL JOHNSON 2 months ago

Dear Joel, First of all The eqn. x2-y2 equal 1 doesn't makes sense. It's not an ellipse. Check the required eqn plz.
