I suggest you to trust your hard-work and learning tactics, yes, your category may help you in one way when a separate list will be prepared but prior to that you must prepare well and strive hard to get good marks. You need to wait for the cutoff list as it keeps on changing every year, one thing that can be done on your part is to set your goal high. Download worksheets and previous years’ test papers for practice, go for extensive practice and join some renowned coaching center. Along with that do go for a survey of reputed colleges/universities like – VIT Vellore,.....SRM University, Chennai,..........Lovely Professional University, Punjab,.......Sastra University, Thanjavur,.....BITS Pilani etc.
